Bifocals-Some useful points

Glasses with two distinct optical powers are named “Bifocals”. In bifocals, each lens is alienated into two parts- the upper segment of the lens is a convex lens which is used for viewing objects in a distance and the lower segment which is affixed with a concave lens is used for close viewing and reading purposes. Main reason to wear bifocals is that this kind of eyeglasses can help adjust both near as well as distance visions. In bifocals, two separate prescriptions were enclosed in a single lens.

With the emergence of many online vendors, buying of bifocal glasses is simple and easy. Undoubtedly, getting a bifocal pair of eyeglass is always a better option rather than switching to and having two pair of eyeglasses; one pair of reading and another pair for single vision.

Selection the right type of lenses for your prescription eyeglasses

When you have vision error, you consult an eye care specialist who recommends you eyeglasses. Most people know they need eyeglasses to correct their vision. But, the reality is that getting an eyeglass prescription is only a beginning. From fabulous frame shapes and colors to advanced lens technologies, today's eyeglass wearers have endless options.

Do you find yourself sitting in front of a computer at work throughout the day?  Do you drive at night with the glare of headlights straining your eyes?  Do you just want to look better in your new glasses? If so, you might want to look into anti-reflective lenses, which help reduce the glare and reflections that often cause eye fatigue. Anti-reflective lenses also help resist dirt and smudges while they also offer two-sided scratch resistance that helps extend the life of the lens. Lens coatings can enhance the performance and appearance of your eyeglass lenses and also give you a better look.

Eyeglasses and tints

Which color do you like best among the world of colors? It is blue, yellow or others. For me, my favorite color is grey. It is because it relates to the smoky color of the sky. I want to be in the sky and hope to float freely in the midst of white and grey clouds. Therefore, I am loyal to grey and I have also chosen grey tint for my eyeglasses without any hesitation.

Prescription eyeglasses can be customized with a wide range of colors and gradients in colors like red, blue, yellow, brown, grey, amber, green and purple.
